Mental Health Literacy at The Family Cafe
The Family Cafe is pleased to invite you to a one-day training entitled Mental Health Literacy on Thursday, June 14 at the Hilton Orlando from 9:30 - 5:00. There is no cost to attend.
With about 20% of Americans experience some type of mental illness, and many high-profile mental health emergencies occurring nationwide, it’s essential that leaders in our community be familiar with the symptoms, causes and evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis and substance use disorder.
Mental Health Literacy is about leaders in the disability community developing a base of leadership and understanding about mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in a supportive and responsive manner.

The 14th Annual Family Cafe is scheduled for June 15-17, 2012 at the Hilton Orlando located at 6001 Destination Parkway in Orlando. We are planning for a full slate of events and activities, with dozens of breakout sessions, a full Exhibit Hall and much more!
At this time, all Financial Assistance has been allocated.
Rooms are available at the event hotel for the negotiated rate of $109 per night. You can contact the Hilton Orlando at 407/313-4300. Remember to tell them that you are with The Family Cafe to get our special discounted rate.

Exhibitor and Micro-Enterprise Forms Now Being Accepted for The 14th Annual Family Cafe
The Family Cafe is now accepting Exhibitor agreements forms and Micro-Enterprise exhibitor agreement forms for The 14th Annual Family Cafe, which is scheduled for June 15-17, 2012.
Last year over 100 exhibitors exposed their organizations and business to the nearly 8,000 participants who attend The 13th Annual Family Café. To view a listing of all of the exhibitors from last year you can find event programs from previous years in the Publications section of our website here.
The cost to be an Exhibitor is $1,200 and will include one 10’ x 10’ area furnished with one skirted table and two chairs. There is no cost to me a Micro-Enterprise.
All Exhibitor Agreements must be received by Friday, April 27, 2012. To receive a $50 discount, make payment before February 14, 2012.
All Micro-Enterprise Exhibitor Agreements must be received by Friday, May 4, 2012.

• Owned and operated by a self-advocate
• Employs fewer than five people
• Has annual revenue that does not exceed $35,000
